When a family loses someone — or a marriage ends — the last thing they need is to figure out real estate alone.
My path into real estate began after 25 years in New York City's entertainment industry, where I earned an MFA in Arts Administration. I understand people. I understand the weight of a big decision, the pressure of a deadline, and the emotions tangled up in every room of a home.
When I made the move to real estate, I found a calling — not just a career. Over 500 transactions later, my specialty has become the work most agents won't touch: probate estates, court-mandated sales, and properties caught in the middle of a divorce. These aren't just transactions. They're chapters in someone's life. And I take that seriously.
Early in my real estate career, I worked with a family navigating the sale of their late mother's home. They were grieving, overwhelmed by paperwork, and unclear on what the court even required. Their previous agent had walked away because it "was too complicated." I stayed. I learned the process inside and out — the Florida probate court system, the estate attorney relationships, the documentation that personal representatives needed. We closed the sale. The family was at peace.
That experience became the foundation for over a decade of specialization. Today, I am one of the most recognized probate real estate specialists in Broward County. I know the local estate and trust attorneys by name. I have appeared in court to testify on property value and market conditions. I know what judges need to see, and I know how to get families to the closing table cleanly.
The same philosophy extends to divorce real estate. When a marriage ends and a home is in the middle of it, emotions run high. My role is to be the calm, neutral expert who keeps the process moving — protecting both parties' financial interests and honoring the court's timeline.
For families whose loved ones lived in Florida but who live out of state themselves, I offer a full-service concierge approach. I coordinate cleanouts, repairs, estate sales, pest control, landscape upkeep, and even vehicle transfers — so that a family in Chicago or New York never has to get on a plane to manage the sale of a Fort Lauderdale home.
"I have appeared in Florida probate court to testify on property value and market conditions. I know what the process requires — and I know how to guide families through it with clarity."
Advanced training in probate law, court processes, and the unique challenges of estate property sales.
Specialized expertise in court-ordered sales, equitable distribution, and working with both parties through divorce.
Dedicated focus on the real estate needs of clients 50+, including downsizing, estate planning, and senior transitions.
Expert guidance on short sales, foreclosure alternatives, and distressed property transactions.
Most of my probate and estate clients are not in Florida. They're managing the loss of a parent from across the country — and they don't have time to fly down to oversee a cleanout or coordinate a repair. That's what I'm here for.
My concierge approach means I manage every detail from start to close. You don't need to be here. You just need to trust that someone capable is.
Before Fort Lauderdale, there was New York City — and 25 years in the entertainment industry. I earned my MFA in Arts Administration, worked in production, learned how to manage complex projects with high stakes and high emotions, and developed a deep understanding of people under pressure.
That background doesn't look like typical realtor training. But when you're sitting across from a personal representative who is overwhelmed, or a divorcing couple who can barely be in the same room — the ability to read people, communicate clearly, and stay steady under pressure is everything.
Real estate found me at the right time. And probate found me for a reason.
Let's Talk →Probate and divorce are complex. I break down the process into plain language so you always know exactly where things stand, what's next, and what to expect.
You're not just a listing. You're a person in a hard moment. I treat every client with the patience, empathy, and genuine care that this work demands.
A decade of probate experience, four specialty certifications, and court-tested knowledge means you have the right expert from day one — not someone learning on the job.
I handle everything from cleanout to close. My network of attorneys, contractors, and service providers means the only call you need to make is to me.
500+ closed transactions, a top 1% national ranking, and a decade of client trust don't happen by accident. They happen because I work harder than anyone else at this.
As part of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World through Balistreri, I bring a global network to a deeply local expertise — South Florida, done right.
No pressure. No sales pitch. Just an honest conversation about what you're facing and how I can help.
